susanbb
Who will be watching Corrie tonight to say bye to Vera. Can you believe that she's been in Corrie for 30 years? WOW That's a lifetime. Will you admit to being just a bit tearful My 11yo has told me to let him know what happens.........................
Joojoo
I'll be watching It's the only soap I still watch regularly. The others drive me up the wall!
Ain't Nobody Here
Can't decide if I'm glad I know in advance or not. Sometimes it's good to know, sometimes it just spoils it . Poor Jack . What will he do without his little swamp duck (or whatever he calls her ). And poor Molly and Tyrone - there goes their new house presumably . Egluntyne
I'm a huge Correr fan. Will Jack go head with the move to Blackpool? Or will he stay near his pigeons?

Lesley
You could have used a cryptic title - or posted later......... I'm just watching it... and I avoid all trailers and magazines spoilers like the plague!
Cate in NZ
I don't watch any soaps either, so have no plans to watch this episode either I'm afraid. Besides which I cry at the drop of a hat, I need some cheering up in this dreary weather, not another blubbing session That said, even I've heard of Vera Duckworth, sounds like she'll be sadly missed from the street

Egluntyne
Jack's performance was superb. There wasn't a dry seat in the house at Egluntine Towers.

Ain't Nobody Here
I had to snuffle in secret - lots of blinking involved - my hard-hearted boys didn't seem bothered in the least .
Guest
It was nicely done. Does anyone know what is wrong with Liz Dawn? I know she's been unable to play much of a part for a long time now, but I don't know what has happened. It's sad she's going.
Ain't Nobody Here
This is sadly what's wrong with her: Coronation Street's Liz Dawn is battling chronic emphysema. The actress, who plays Vera Duckworth, has been left so breathless at times that she has to be given oxygen on the set of the ITV1 soap. Egluntyne
Emphysema apparently.

Guest
Poor Liz Dawn. She must feel so sad. Especially with Betty Driver going on and on. It's the sort of soap which you can just stay in forever, appearing when it suits you. Sad for Bill Tarmey too.
theherd123
So can anyone tell be how she died? I dont watch any soaps but i heard they filmed 3 different endings!
Guest
She just dozed off in her armchair. Jack went for a drink and when he came home, she'd gone.
