I have just looked at the latest Lidl offer leaflet and they have a breadmaker on sale from 4th February. It is their own brand so I'm not sure of it. They also have lots of other kitchen gadgets including one of those chefs blowtorches, and an egg cooker that cooks 7 eggs at the same time!

I have had a Lidl breadmaker it was one with two bread pans which meant that you could make one white one brown loaf at the same time. It worked very well for a cheap machine but because I used it daily the pans began to lose their non-stick and one of them leaked water a little around the paddle which meant that i couldn't leave it on timer. I used it for over a year and if you just want a play with a breadmaker but are unsure how much you would use one then it is a good buy if it is the same one that I had.

I have one of those cheap breadmakers from Argos, it was £24 last year. I haven't bought a loaf of bread for about 6 months

 

The Lidl brand is Bifinett, not sure if that is the same as the one chickencam bought, but nice to hear from someone who has one from Lidl

That's the same as my cheapo one (from superdrug a while ago). it works perfectly well, although every so often you have to soak the pan in water to get the paddle moving again as bread mix gets under it. We love the bread, and the timer function is great.

I've already got a breadmaker, but my microwave is a Bifinett from Lidl - no probs whatsoever, very reliable and about 3 years old now.

These threads have inspired me to plug my breadmaker in again (been a bit neglected of late). I found some bread mix in my cupboard - ever so slightly out of date (14 months) So I chucked it in to see if it would work. It didn't rise very well at all, but did make quite a tasty, stodgy loaf. But teenage son, who is constantly hungry, loved it! He's been eating it all day! Yay - I actually still have some food left in the fridge!

missed the discussion about steam cleaners, have more pairs of crocs than I am prepared to own up to and am considering a purchase of Yankee candles when I've finished the ones I bought from the white company :D

Just been to our lidl and they haven't got any

 

I asked if they had any and was told that different areas have different offers. Checked their leaflet aswell and no sign of a breadmaker - this week they got steam irons and laundry items
