motherhen
I'm still struggling with my shopping habbits, doing a little bit at a time so I don't get too daunted. Having just swapped to organic veggies I'm now thinking that perhaps I should have addressed the meat issue first. After all the veggies aren't suffering. sorry to whittle on I'm just all over the place with my shopping habbits at the moment. Free trade, free range, non-additive, organic.... Little bit at a time is spot on. It takes time to learn how new habits can best fit into your life. Remember that every little helps and much better to do a few things ecologically and ethically for the rest of your life, adding a few more in when it feels right, than to leap into it madly trying to do everything and then give up totally after a few weeks. The Dogmother
This is hysterical! No curry for me tonight - early to bed, nursing a cold! We are celebrating Phil's birthday at the weekend; might have a meal out then.

Cinnamon
Maybe in my younger days - but now I am a "responsible parent" I don't have a curry brekkie any more. Of course these days there are fewer leftovers too And I rarely get TIME for any breakfast The hens had pilau rice for supper yesterday & loved it Although they spat out the cardomom pods

Mel (& Paul)
Ummmmm Will people never learn? I guess that you can say no, when people buy finest they assume that it is going to be free range / organic. and Will people never learn? Is there ever going to be a topic that doesnt shoot off (scoot / squit ) at different angles
