hi everyone, well he's had the MRI and thankfully there wasn't too much waiting around for him. As usual with these things, we weren't told anything on the day. The results will be sent to his consultant so we'll probably have to go and see him next week.

 

Mum treated us all to a pub lunch and then I sat with the girls all afternoon while they had a bit of garden time.

 

So, nothing to tell just yet but dad had a huge plate of fish and chips for his lunch and hasn't had any more bleeding, as far as I know so that's good.

 

Fingers x'd for next week.

So glad your Dad's had a calmer day today at the hospital - and enjoyed his lunch (always a good sign).

thank you all, you're so lovely the way you rally round, big hugs back to you.

 

I phoned mum earlier and she said dad has eaten ALL the shortbread I made for her for Mother's Day which made me laugh. I'll make him some more at the weekend

 

Will let you know how Friday goes and will also be thinking about and sending healing wishes and thoughts (if I were religious I'd call them prayers) to ANH's dad, Chickenlass, JooJoo, Michelle, Egluntine and anyone else who's suffering right now.

Ah thanks Poet. I'm really pleased that everything went smoothly for you today. I hadn't had chance to log on earlier but I hae thought about you and your Mum & Dad

 

Fingers crossed it doesn't take too long for the results to come back and then at least you will know what you are dealing with. I bet after everything you've gone through in the last week a pub lunch was lovely for all of you.
