Valkyrie
Took Number One Son to girlfriends - remarked how much he looked like Dennis the Menace in his new hoodie. Really scary as OH has mailed this link to me and asked if I recognised the guy in it. If it weren't for the Aussie accent - it's a real dead ringer for my 17 year old! Ain't Nobody Here
My (almost) 16 year old is in Belgium (rowing) for 10 days at the moment. I'll not get any texts (mobile not taken) and I'll be lucky if I get a phone call. If I do, it'll be along the lines of that YouTube clip . Valkyrie
"What?" is another followed by "my bad". The guy even has identical lip piercing (he did have two at one time and I am told they are called "snake bites"????). Although my boy's hair is tidier and the hot water now gets cold because he spends ages in the shower - remember those times when they had to be forced through the bathroom door? Snowy
Great, just like my 16 year old as well. Good to know they are all the same isn't it?
bracken
Thats brilliant! Its really cheered me up! The epitome of every teenage boy. Are teenage girls the same? I have two lads so I wouldnt know if they are?
hillfamily
Are teeage girls the same? No I've got one of each :D my son is a breeze compared to the ranting mood swings of my teenage daughter Some days she is lovely, some days it's best to go into hiding At least with my son I know not to expect much more than grunting for the next few years
bracken
I'll count my blessings then.
Valkyrie
I agree with Pam - it's like the old poem goes: When they are good, they are very, very good But when they are bad, they are horrid! Oh, and they can be deceitful too. Basingstoke doubles as Camden Market and just recently Southampton - but we always catch her out!
Jules.
I like it. It's good to be prepared ( 2 boys aged 11 & 4!)
