Treekeeper
Help what is your 20th wedding anniversary? 25 silver etc etc. It's ours on the 16th and I haven't got a clue. I am taking her up to the wilds of Scotland though to rough it in the hills!
Mrs Frugal
20th anniversary is traditionally the china anniversary. Does that give you any ideas? Scotland sounds wonderful! What a great place to go for a break.
Treekeeper
Thanks Kate. We go up a lot to the West highlands nice and wild, I did offer to take her somewhere posh but she wouldn't have it. We are going for a fancy meal in the exclusive restaurant two doors down from the house it only has two tables so we won't be roughing it all the time
Mrs Frugal
Whereabouts in the West Highlands are you going? We had a lovely break in a tiny hamlet called Cove overlooking Loch Ewe near Gairloch. Fantastic scenery. Can't wait to go back one day. You'll have a fabulous time. I hope you get a decent spell of weather as the icing on the cake. Treekeeper
We go to Badachro which is in Gairloch bay. I know Cove and Loch Ewe very well. We love it up there.

Treekeeper
It surely is and the icing on the cake is OH relatives who live on a 40 acre croft on Scorraig in Little Loch Broom it's like an adventure playground for the kids they have loads of chooks, ATV's to ride on Otters on the shore Sea Eagles and Red Deer up on the hill, and the only way in is a 4 mile walk or sail across the loch
Mrs Frugal
Wow!! That sounds like heaven!! We didn't see any deer while we were there - we certainly looked though - plenty of buzzards though!! We had some lovely days on Firemore Beach on Loch Ewe. A real paradise . I'm deeply envious now . I want to go back there sometime soon. The 12 hour drive is worth it .
