Laura & CTB
We should get together and commiserate - with a stiff drink and a box of hankies now that's a good idea shame we are at opposite ends of the country Who cares ? Lets organise one huge Omlet "cry all you like" get together - we could have wine, chocolate by the bucket load and as many superbalm tissues as it takes - oh and everyone has to bring a cake - the more calorie laden the better. missuscluck
Me too. Its a great place to off load and get buckets of sympathy! I started a blog. Something I would have never dreamed of doing. It saves me time to be honest as I write to my brother every week about what we have been up to during the week. He is very partialy sighted and has a huge computer screen which speaks to him. As he is at home most of the time being on the net is his saviour. He mails me every week and I always mail him our news. I also mail lots of far away friends our news so now I do it once and post it up. ....... Can someone pm me the method of putting 'read my blog' without putting the name of your blog in. I noticed that most of the links just say that. I have no idea how to do that Thankyou
Ain't Nobody Here
You are all amazing . I feel pretty humbled reading about the awful things you've gone through. I feel bad going on and on about my situation (and I know you might say "don't") but I am very lucky in that I have a lovely family and my health so I will definitely count my blessings and spare a thought for those of you less fortunate. Cate in NZ
Fee, so sorry you have been having a rotten time . Sending you loads of hugs & positive vibes, I do hope that there is someone fabulous for you just around the next corner. Take care. My daughter set up a blog when we first got our ex batts, but once they'd settled in, recovered and feathered up it all got a bit mundane so she s"Ooops, word censored!"ped it and I removed it from my sig. Every so often I contemplate setting up another blog to show the upheaval and our journey to NZ but I'm so short of time these days that I really can't see me keeping it up to date so I've not actually bothered. I'll just keep boring you all with NZ news on different threads Can someone pm me the method of putting 'read my blog' without putting the name of your blog in. I noticed that most of the links just say that. I have no idea how to do that Thankyou ...blog.... or .....My blog....

Missuscluck, I suggest you follow Afamily's instructions rather than my PM - why didn't I manage to make it so succinct . I see you've done it already . Snowy
Sorry you are having a hard time Fee Best not to start an I hate men thread as some of us would get carried away We know what you mean though Just come along for virtual hugs all you need I agree Louise! Can I join in the Omlet group cry? I'm having a b** time at the moment too Sorry to hear your news Fee, strange how life bowls along quite well then suddenly, everything gets turned upside down and you don't know where you are anymore. Now I don't want to know the future or anything, but just sometimes I'd like a bit of warning! On a CBT course recently, we were taught about the importance of keeping a daily diary (which fits into the blogs thread nicely ) and highlighting the positives that happen every day. Even in a really rubbish day, some good things happen, and just recalling those at the end of the day, stops us getting into a negative thinking cycle. Hm, must learn to start taking my own advice. Guest
Hope things improve Fee - thinking of you. Back on topic - I update mine almost every day But not today as I have been sexing quail - yet again - washing baby quails feet - collecting some stuff from a village away from here on Freecycle - visiting an out of the way village pub for husband's 70th surprise birthday lunch - getting a (no don't ask) and fretting about a hospital appointment tomorrow I only put the 'better bits' on my blog and skip all the rubbish. Must see if I can find something to upload today.

There is lots of stuff in the categories sections - which is where all my posts go to each week - so you don't have to look at anything your are not interested in.
