yannovitch
bonjour tout le monde! i have beetroot seedlings which were doing very well for as long as they were in their trays... now i have tranplanted them recently, and i find some of them are turning red... i remember reading something about this, but i cannot remember what... is there anyone who knows? Thanks.... Yann
Christian
I'm sure my beetroot seedlings were red last year. The leaves turn dark green with a reddish tint and have a red vein through them. I think.
Tara.F
beetroot seedlings usually have green leaves on bright scarlet stems

chickencam
I wouldn't have thought that being a root crop they would take kindly to transplanting, which might make them bolt.
