Popcorn
Phil - I have spent the day in the garden today - with loads of help - and you'd not know it. They are so much hard work aren't they once you let them go over Winter (or is that just me?) I'd need a week to make it look anything like a garden again A good lawn-mow does make a huge difference though.
Lesley
They are both beautiful Phil - a credit to the flower arrangers. We had some beautiful arrangements in our tiny Church this Easter as well, the perfume hit us as soon as we entered the porch.

Chicken on a mission
That's great to hear I am hopefully going to to have visitors tommorw who are ripe to be talked into getting an eglu. They are at the 'we think we want chickens' stage. My plan is to get them to look for (and find ) eggs and then to be so bowled over that they jet wash the eglu for me A doggy bag of the fresh eggs they find would go down well to
Cate in NZ
Beautiful flowers Phil. Have a great week off, I hope you manage to get everything done that you want, and fit in some R & R, and plenty of visits to the forum of course Son's extremely jealous of you going to the Charlton Bolton match, he's a massive Charlton fan, and we usually go to that particular match as my home town is Bury..... not too far from the Reebok, and a great excuse for me to get back home to visit my Mum. We're not doing it this year though because my Mum's away, but he's not a happy bunny about it. How dare she book holidays without consulting the football fixtures first . Crooked Chicken
Beautiful Cross Happy Easter Or Merry Easter as i mistakenly said this morning at church I went with some of the members from my church to a sun rise service on the beach this morning 6.00am we had a bonfire too and then had bacon butties and tea afterwards When I lived back home, I use to go to the Salvation Army. I remember attending the Sunrise services, which were just fabulous. Getting up so early in the morning, when no one else was around, just the birds, standing on a hillside, dewy grass beneth your feet, breathing in the fresh crisp air, with a hint of pink in the sky - just great, and very spiritual. Lovely crosses Rev Nev. By the way 'back home' for me was Gidea Park, fairly near Upminster. I wonder if Rooms Stores is still there. Happy Easter Sunday everyone. Guest
Lovely crosses Rev Nev. By the way 'back home' for me was Gidea Park, fairly near Upminster. I wonder if Rooms Stores is still there. Happy Easter Sunday everyone. Roomes is indeed still there - they've expanded over the road to with a furniture store. One of my churches (the one in the picture is right next door to Roomes) The other one is Nelmes URC - on Burntwood Avenue - which borders on Gidea Park. you're always welcome if you're in the area and you want to come and reminisce Phil The part of Roomes nearer the station is due to be sold off to M&S - foodstore with flats above it...
