clare*
Tonight we have been to visit one of our friends who has just moved into a fab new barn conversion The house is really nice, but I just could not get over the lovely green grass It was as if I had never seen grass before. I could not stop staring at it I want his lawn
Chicken on a mission
Ah the old lawn envy rears its ugly head again I love the new look poo spattered greenish stuff I laughingly call a lawn. Still, the permanant run site is being started on Saturday so thing can only improve
Lesley
We've still got green grass - but the ducks are quicklt trashing it. They are much worse than the chickens

chocchick
We've still got green grass - but the ducks are quicklt trashing it. They are much worse than the chickens How can it be worse than NO grass (our lawn)? Our local petshop owner keeps chickens and he said his chickens were worse than usual this year at trashing his lawn. Congratulations on the 2 eggs Lesley

Congratulations on the 2 eggs Lesley That's true, but ducks can clear the grass as well - they make puddles on it and then waggle their beaks in - sorry, bills - and all the grass just disappears. Thank goodness they will only have one more week on our lawn
