As it was such lovely weather again today we decided to spend the day in New Quay (Wales not Cornwall). Had a wonderful day, lunch by the harbour, watched the dolphins in the bay. On the way back I called at my favorite farm shop to find a very sad farmer. He had put all his chickens away last night (were talking hundreds) and about an hour later the whole barn went up in smoke and killed the lot. Fortunately all the ducks were still outside so they survived but everything else hens and chickens got wiped out. Poor guy it must have been horrible.

That is absolutely devastating! It's hard losing 1 chicken, let alone hundreds. That poor man!
