The Managing Director
I know someone who cleans before the cleaner comes round!!!!! Cleaner????? Who's that?????? my mum had a cleaner and we always had to tidy up before she came round , it was the regular thursday night cry, I vowed never to be the same but I have a cleaner once a fortnight and sadly on the wednesday night I think I may just occasionally be heard to say 'tidy your room the cleaners are coming' (that's to Murdo obviously )
Linda
It's great to meet more like-minded people! Housework has never been a priority for me - there are so many more pleasurable things to do. If it's a choice between hoovering and playing with the children, the playing wins every time!! I know I've posted it on here before, but no-one has said on their death bed that they wished they had spent more of their lives doing housework!! Guest
As long as my kitchen is hygenic, and can see the carpet, I just don't care! My MIL is the sort that buys a new sofa so you can sit on the floor (on a sheet ) and look at it!
Chicken on a mission
I noticed on a previous post that I don't 'hover' everyday. I'd like to point out that I don't hoover everyday either Unfortunately, I spend too much time on this forum which doesn't help!
Guest
So you do 'hover' round the forum......
Linda
We're just a lot of hoverers!
Chicken on a mission
It's terrible isn't it? I have trouble spelling which has always surprised all my teachers considering I have always been a book worm. Now combine this with the fact that my typing is apalling and you can appreciate the challenges I face. Not half as bad as those facing anyone trying to decifer what I have written
Linda
I'd rather be a hoverer than a hooverer, believe me!!!
Popcorn
Isn't it funny that we call it hoovering! It's really vacuuming. Hoover is the brand! I'm glad I read this thread. Some lovely poems to think about. I'm not the worlds most manic cleaner upper, but I do like a clean house. It gets cluttered quite a lot, but it's genrally clean and bacteria free. A little bit everyday, I find keeps the dust away Thanks girls!
Guest
Very soon Gina, you are going to find that there is simply not enough hours in the day (if you fancy the odd bit of sleeping!)! Then, although I really hardly know you, I think you are going to be sensible enough to say 'dust? What dust?!)
Mel (& Paul)
Have you been speaking to Mel MD?
Mel (& Paul)
She doesn't have children, but they have two dogs, and alien that thinks it's a dog and loads of chickens. She's always professing not to do any housework, but when i went to see them, she'd done the MIL trick. I reckon that she's a closet Anthea Turner Yeah, course I am. No children but an (& Paul) who goes round tidying up and going
