I found out yesterday what happens when you leave the Christmas arrangement of Church candles in a conservatory........in the hot weather.....

 

Puddles of molten wax all over the TV cabinet, down the sides......all over the floor

 

I won't make that mistake again

Oh no I hope it comes off OH lit our fire a few months ago and left a number of large pillar candles in front of it The tiles on the hearth have never looked so shiny

Not too bad - I'm hoping it will work like the beeswax polish I usually use on it

When my ED was small we left a tin with wax crayons in it on her window ledge on a sunny day. It made quite a mess

 

Hope you can get it clean.

a very sticky, waxy mess indeed - happened to me a few years ago

It happened to us when my daughter left a packet of crayons in the back of a hire car on a hot day.

Yes it was the same with us and the crayons - very messy

I once blew out a block candle far too hard and slpashed molten wax all over the dining table. Spent ages sitting there s"Ooops, word censored!"ing it off with my nail, very theraputic

I thought it was just me, all my lush soaps melted in my bathroom, everywhere!

 

What a waste!
