My mum pulled some up from my garden today and the house smells lovely apparently! What was described as 10 plants from B & Q but each square had at least 6 plants in it so i had loads. I planted then in March and they are now about 18 inches high, I've lost some but still have plenty. They sat upstairs in my room, (the attic conversion) on the window ledge and I planted them out a few weeks ago-see my blog for more details! The girls are excused, of course! growing sweetpeas among your runner beans ensures good pollination (which is why you see so many on allotments) particularly useful in the dry hot summers we've been getting of late.
