hillfamily Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 A lovely lady called Sarah, from BBC Southern Counties Radio telephoned me this afternoon to arrange a telephone interview on her show tomorrow afternoon about 2 pm ish We're going to discuss chicken keeping, hen parties and rescued ex batts :D :D She thinks chickens are great and wants to get some herself..........so I can see this interview going on for some while :D Think you should be able to listen via the BBC website........will investigate Good job I had my hair done last week edited - just realised the interview won't be live as she's not on until 4 pm tomorrow - that's good at least I'll be able to listen to it :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hillfamily Posted May 23, 2008 Author Share Posted May 23, 2008 Well.........all done :D Hoping it went OK I had assumed as Sarah's drivetime show doesn't go out until 4pm, that she was going to record our interview before her show and play it back during her show. But she must be recording today's show early but 'as live' as I was connected to her studio during a song and then went straight into the interview. Threw me completely - know I spoke to fast and not sure what I said made any sense but anyway got a plug in for Omlet, Hen Parties and BHWT :D On the BBC website her show can't be 'listened to again' so I'll have to record it on my 'Bug' radio and listen to it later :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hillfamily Posted May 23, 2008 Author Share Posted May 23, 2008 Yup........even I missed me It would appear according to a friend who phoned me to say she had heard me on the radio, that Sarah was doing the afternoon show (1pm - 4pm) today (even though the BBC website still says the Sussex Drive Time with Sarah Gorrell) so my interview was really truly live and the BBC doesn't list it as one that can be listened to again ..........so I will never know if I sounded like a mad chicken woman Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
