The weather here is yukky warm and raining, it stopped briefly over lunch and the girls came out for an hour.

 

My son was ill on Monday, fine yesterday and has done nothing but sleep today. Partly as a result of his illness but the weather doesn't help

 

We are all feeling fed up and hemmed in.

Same here. Pouring with rain all day and everyone half asleep and cranky......and I've still got to walk the dog who HATES going out in the rain

 

Chooks are running their beaks along the mesh to come out like kids with sticks on railings but it is chucking it down so they will have to stay put.

I've let mine out a few times today, when it eased up a bit (chickens not kids) but it's just the worst day ever really.. it doesn't know what it wants to do

This week we are holding the annual football outreach training from church on a local school field- it happens come rain or shine! We'll have squidgy feet tonight.

Raining stair rods here and I've got someone coming to look at my cube in a short while.

 

I advised her to bring wellies.

It's been raining pretty much non stop for 5 days here. DH is ecstatic because he re-turfed our lawn last week, and the rain means he doesn't have to water it twice a day There is so much I want to get on with in the garden, this rain is very frustrating

We've had rain here yesterday and today for the first time in ages and boy did our garden need it. My exbatts have been enjoying it even if they have looked like drowned rats

I let our girls for a paddle on the lawn earlier while i cleaned the coop. The coop is pressure treated wood and has never leaked but it seemed damp inside today I wonder if the wind has forced the rain through any gaps???

 

the girls feet were lovely and clean after their paddle at least!

mine was wet through yesterday and I have a solid roof, but the rain was lashing through the sides, I raked it all out yesterday and put new in just so their feet wouldn't get wet and then it rained again today..

Its been raining all day here as well.

 

I also noticed how clean the chickens feet were.

 

This morning they were muddy this evening clean.

My girls have experienced rain for the first time this past couple of days. Whilst Maisie and Rosie don't like it that much Daisy decided to have a 'mud bath' in what was her 'dust bath'. She is supposed to be white and ended up black, she ran around chuntering to herself so I think she's had a good time!

Mine have gone out today for the first time this week, we have a large run so they can stay in for a few days in wet weather. They've been getting noisier each day though so we've succumbed today.

 

This weather seems to have made my hypermobility syndrome worse, i think it's the change in pressure. All i know is, today is a duvet day and i'm so drugged up i'm not sure what i'm typing.

The sun is out today, but unfortunately the children are worse.

 

YD had awful Diarrhoea last night and has a temperature and very red cheeks this morning. DS woke up last night frightened because his hands felt too small He slept most of the day yesterday and has slept most of the morning so far. What a way for them to spend half term

 

We are supposed to be going to the Wychwood music festival on Saturday, they may be better by then but what about the rest of us?

I'm not too good myself with my vertigo, & hubby is lying on the couch full of a cold & achey.
