I STINK!!

Recommended Posts

Oh no!! Just made up my pasta / pesto salad to take to work and thought I'd throw in a few chopped veggies for good measure. So I duly got a HUGE tomato that came in my veg box yesterday and one of the ENORMOUS salad onions. Chop chop chop, in they went. Just had a mouthful (quality control obviously :oops: ) only to discover that they weren't salad onions, they were fresh garlic. It's very nice, but I wouldn't want to be sitting next to me later on. :shock:

I try not to have smelly food at work, it's not really fair (ever since I made cabbage soup and everyone thought a sewer had broken nearby - it tasted delicious, just ponged a bit!) but it's a bit late now really. That's the trouble with veg boxes, there's quite often stuff in there I don't recognise! :lol:

Oh well, maybe I'll take them a cake to take their mind off it.

I once bought a sandwich at work, that was supposed to be some kind of roasted veg in some kind of sauce... it was soooooo garlicky, people were coming across the whole floor to see what was going on (I was eating it at my desk) :oops::oops:

Had a whole tube of extra strong mints afterwards, but the office itself went on smelling for the whole day (me too probably), and I ended up with an awfully sore throat (mint overdose??)...

:lol: I once had a very garlicky meal, and the next day was feeling a bit anxious about it, so I went into Boots to buy one of those vile breath spray things.

Picked it up, and as I was queuing up at the counter the girl at the till turned to her colleague and said "Phew, where's that smell of garlic coming from"!

:oops::oops::oops:

Garlic is very good for you, maybe "Ooops, word censored!"ody will want to sit near you but think how pure your blood will be after that!

Mrs B your post always make me laugh :lol:

I dont have garlic on a work night either, so its forbidden in the week! :lol:

I worry that I have "coffee breath" at work so always avoid hot drinks aswell :lol:

Spray on some extra puffs of strong perfume before you go to work, hopefully that will soften it. :lol:

Gargle three times with Ukadex and you'll be as right as rain.

Vampires, Werewolves, Blame for a claim, Tax man, VAT man, Friends, Family, Beggars, Rag & Bone men, people you have yet to meet, those people who phone from Tibet offering car insurance, will all urge you to go back on the Garlic Diet, and you will want to also :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I haven't even taken the top off it yet! Still waiting for the disposable Acid suit from work, and no I am not joking :lol::lol::lol:

Garlic is a sweet smell really. :wink:
