BBC Gardener's World/Home/Food show this week - can't wait!

Recommended Posts

I'm so excited, it's the big show at the NEC this week and I'm going on Wednesday with my pal Debra. I went last year and it was great, but it was an expensive visit, not just due to the garden furniture I bought BUT because it was my first sight of an Eglu and was love at first sight.....

The rest is history.....

PS is anybody else going on Wednesday?

It was a massive event, not that I got to see much of it with being on the stand. There were such a wide range of exhibitors and some beautifully prepared stands and gardens.

Go! You'll have a great time. Don't forget to take your flexible friend

Hello, not been on here for ages and ages. Hello to everyone. I went on Wednesday with my Mum. It was a lovely day but quite tiring. Wednesday seems a better day to go. We went on Friday last year and it was much busier.

It was lovely to see the Cube and Eglu again. I am going to be getting a Cube soon hopefully.

I am not sure who I spoke to but she was very lovely and smiley. I hope Omlet gets a lot of orders from the weekend. It's good because people can see what they look like in real life before buying one.

The new roosting bars look good too. :)

Hi All

We were there yesterday! We had a super time, and will definetly go again. I surprised myself with what I do actually know, even though I think I know very little - if that makes sense?! Dave managed to sell one, I didn't sell any although it wasn't through lack of trying.

It was great to meet Medusa and Chickenlass who dropped by to say hello. It was a very long and tiring day. We managed to look at a few of the exhibits and pick up a couple of bargains.

Here's to the next one!:lol:

I had a great time on the stand yesterday - we didn't stop talking from 9am until the last customer left the stand at 6.30! Having a silent day today to rest my voice cos I get to do it all again tomorrow!

The show is huge and well worth the day out if you can get there.

It was lovely to see Emma & Hubby & Bump - looking fab 8)

The new roosting bars look great too - they are slightly textured so, I assume, will be easy for the hens to grip without being slippy.

AMO its going to be manic tomorrow so you are right to rest both your voice and your feet!

I worked the show today with Els & Clare from Omlet and it was great to work with such wonderful folks! 8)

Not as busy as yesterday (went as a visitor) or the Sunday shift last year but we sold about 15 eglus/cubes :D

Guess who i met?!!! :D

Cooperman & Cooperwife and Redbug 8)

It was great to see you all and put faces to names.

I dread to think what the photos will look like - Cooperman took pics of me in action flogging the Omlet wares! I apologise in advance for putting anyone off their tea - im pregnant and poofee!:lol::lol::lol:

My feet held out quite well and considering i woke up with puffy ankles they didnt get puffier throughout the day so that was good :D

I only took one photo all day! The hard sell action shot was taken by Cathy.

It was very nice to meet you Emma, you were exactly like I thought you would be (lovely and swell ), and you did a great job convincing the next generation of hen keepers to take the plunge.

We had a lovely chat with Redbug too.

Here's some photo's...................
