craftyhunnypie
Remember Bumble the Cobar chick I hatched along with Boon the partridge cochin? Well Boon is a forever growing female, but Bumble is a cockerel! He first crowed on Monday morning around 9am when he saw me, he didn't bother crowing at hubby when he let them out. It's not a full cock a doodle doo yet, but a really good attempt - it's lovely! He stands there, pulls his little wings back, sticks his head high and crows.....ur urrrrrrrrrrrr! He he he He loves Cassandra, the gold legbar - he likes the more mature ladies. He still loves Boon though too. Eventually I will breed. I have been told by Wernlas that I'd get some fabulous stunning hens if I were to put Bumble the Cobar with Boon the partridge Cochin. I'm very pleased he's a cockerel as he is very beautiful to look at & very very soppy. He loves his cuddles! I didn't think cockerels could be like this! One of my neighbours can't wait for the full cock a doodle doo to happen. Brilliant! Emma.x

Pinkybijou
Awww, what a handsome chap! So jealous, I would love a cockerel but my neighbours most certainly wouldn't. You are very lucky indeed to have such an understanding neighbour. Fabulous!

superjules
He's very pretty isn't he. I think our Sonic (blue pekin) may be a boy - he's much bigger than the other chick and I've noticed some wattles starting to grow.
