We were in that very spot a couple of months ago . It was pouring with rain and there was no Hogwarts Express though .

We have had the new Bond film being shot around here,but I have yet to get a picture.

They close all the roads off to stop us mere mortals,who live here,from seeing anyhting interesting (like Mr Craig in his budgie smugglers )

Is this the railway line in yorkshire? If it is, we took the kids on this a couple of years ago and went up to Gothland where they shoot 'Heartbeat' It was a fantastic day out. Well worth a visit.

The North York Moors railway! I've been on that a couple of times, there's a really nice second hand bookshop at one of the stops!

I love that road down to Mallaig.

 

When I was little we often camped at Fort William and my Dad would say 'we're going to Morar tomorro.'

 

Being little I think my normal reply was 'What do you mean?'

 

At which point Dad would normally try it out on my older sisters.

Been over that viaduct 4 times now (well twice but you have to come back don't you )

 

It's a beautiful journey, lovely scenery as you go round the loch. We normally stay at Glen Nevis, walk into town to get the train and have a day in Mallaig. Must go again soon - we've not been to Scotland for a couple of years now.......so if we get the caravan by September it could be a good run out for it

I can recommend this campsite, not too far from that viaduct .
