choppish Posted June 23, 2008 Author Share Posted June 23, 2008 they are a bovan nera and a light sussex hybrid. They are quite shy at the mo though. Wouldn;t goto bed last night but seemed quite agitated when it got dark so herded them into the eglu with a rake. then i opened it this morning and they wouldn't come out! until herded out again. i think they are still a little disorientated. thanks for the lovely comments! Love the run too, we're about to go down the same route (on grass at present but lawn is looking a bit tatty) They'll get the hang of going in and out really quickly. Ours needed directing for 3 nights to go into the eglu. Then when they atarted to free range they couldn't work out how to get back in the run, so clucked pitifully at the french door until we herded them in.
