Helen no way!!! *jaw drops* my lot refuse to share the nest box, I wish mine were like yours, my girls will stand outside on the ladder bokking to the top of their beaks until the hen gets out the nestbox before laying an egg. It'd be like my office when we all get to "that" time of the month at once, heaven help everybody Mine won't share the nest box and one day I watched as there was one in the box, one on the roosting bars, one on the ladder and one doing an urgent shuffling dance in the run.
