clare*
We have two new girls I have been bursting to tell but decided to wait till they arrived and they have They were from a couple who were moving and could not take them with them. One is a Pepperpot and the other is a beautiful Speckledy. I have spent all day in the garden with them being referee. My two Gingernut Rangers are not at all happy at their new friends. They have been wandering around the garden moaning about them all day. They are all keeping out of each others way after a brief scuffle I have their eglu as well so for bedtime I can keep them separate until they are used to each other. I can't wait till tomorrow to see what eggs we get

clare*
I know Lesley, it is true what everyone says, two is just not enough Having four wandering about has made me want even more All different breeds would be lovely It is a big help having 2 eglu's for them though. Things have been a bit quieter today. Bacon and egg laid first thing so had the garden to themselves till lunch. Speckle and Betty don't lay till lunchtime so I kept them in their run till then. All four have been out together this afternoon with no squabbles. Bacon and Egg have gone to bed in their own eglu. Betty and speckle are still thinking about bed. They seem to be having to much fun in their new garden. I best go a try and get them in actually.

clare*
I went out this afternoon for an hour so I thought I would risk leaving them all together. I have decided that I intervene too quickly because I don't like squabbles. Well, I came back to find all four very much together. Speckle was trying to climb up the climbing frame ladder, Betty was sat on the wall watching with Bacon and Egg. I was so pleased. As soon as they saw me though they decided to have a fight just a quick one then all was calm again Betty and Speckle have been having a nose in Bacon and Egg's eglu, they did not seem very impressed with it though, pinched some of their food then were off
chocchick
Speckle and Betty don't lay till lunchtime so I kept them in their run till then. T&S don't either Katy now lays after 6pm for some reason Congratulations on your new girls, would love to see pictures. I didn't know 4 made you want even more
clare*
This is all Clare T's fault I returned a book that Clare had kindly lent to me about rabbits. All of hers girls together just looked great and made me want more If I could have more than 4 I would
The Dogmother
That's right Clare*, blame it on me Told you you'd get more, although I'm surprised that you didn't get banties. What did OH say? He's already moaning about the state of his garden - all the more reason to move to a farm......
clare*
I have got some Omlet netting The two new girls don't seem to scratch like Bacon and Egg. I must say the netting is fantastic I should have got some ages ago Paul is fine, he was all for it actually to my surprise He loves them really, though wont admit it. The garden has pretty much recovered now we have had all that rain. The next ones will have to be bantams
