Janty
Can anybody recommend a good electronic fly zapper or something that will do the job effectively. My conservatory is swarming (slight exageration, but only slight). I'm a very unhappy bunny at the moment. The kitchen opens out into the conservatory and I love cooking but I'm paranoid about the flies and food. Please help, Jan

Chickvic
We have just got one fron Aldi, only 6 or 7 pounds, don't know if it is any good yet as the weather turned horrible so we have had no flies
Janty
Thanks for that. I will take a look. It's worth a try for that price.
Helly Welly
We prefer a good old-fashioned fly swatter personally, always good fun!
jackiepoppies
Hi there! I have 2 electronic fly zappers and they work brilliantly. Mozzies and any other undesirable flying insects seem to like the taste of me so one is permamently by my bed in summer and t'other is in the kitchen......How ever!......they look 'orrible but I think good old sticky fly papers work best of all...apart from a spray I found recently called 'Barriere a Insectes' which lasts for weeks on end on all surfaces. The pack says it is made by 'Stone Guard'. It knocks everything in the way of insects out totally. Jackiex
tiggerlady
Mines by the back door..we've had it a couple of weeks and havent zapped anything yet! We also have one of those beaded curtain things and thats surprisingly effective.
Lesley
We prefer a good old-fashioned fly swatter personally, always good fun! so do we......... but not for the height of the conservatory! We've used sticky fly papers but they don't look very nice - worse than looking at one of those zappers...... We could do with a couple as well so I shall keep reading....... Cinnamon
I have the same problem - half of my kitchen has a conservatory roof, which makes it lovely & light but bugs do get stuck there Whatever you do,do NOT get a Flitrap to use indoors - the smell is itruly terrible I use a lot of those nice wire mesh food covers with raffia decorations on to protect everything. They do the job beautifully & look great too. Cinnamon
Don't Paola, really don't. It makes it smell like something has died in your kitchen, which is NOT a good thing
