Duckmomma
Went to see Mamma Mia last night It was brilliant, has to be the best film I have seen in years We went last week but it was sold out so we saw Angus Thongs and perfect snogging instead (which we really enjoyed) This week we booked our tickets online before hand which was lucky cos they were turning people away who didn't already have tickets when we got there. A brilliant funny and uplifting film even if you don't like musicals or Abba
AnnieP
I agree! I went with a group of girlfriends last week. It was a hoot. Cinema full of women, all singing along. Piers B cannot sing for toffee, but it really didn't matter, and as for Meryl Streep! What a star that woman is! Brilliant. Thoroughly recommended if you are hesitating..... Rhapsody
Am I the only person on the planet who cant abide ABBA? I'd rather listen to someone drag their nails down a blackboard.

The Dogmother
Rosie *made* me watch Enchantment the other day.. sooo not my bag at all Phil popped round and was sushed by Rosie who told him that I was 'discovering my inner princess'!!! Nothing could be further from the truth.. I sooo don't do pink or sparkly. Rosie can indulge in that with Emma and Annie

Oh come on there must be someone out there who hasnt had their musical taste genes removed apart from me! It's just Euromerde long past its sell-by, and dont get me started on how people behave when it comes on at the wedding disco.

Seagazer
I will admit to not liking much of their music. Hubby really likes them and used to play their albums a lot. Really put me off. That stopped me from actually watching the stage show of Mamma Mia - I thought it was about Abba. But I really love the songs in the film - even PB singing. In fact our present favorite song is the one that Colin Firth starts singing - about past summers. Lovely.
Duckmomma
Like I said "Even if you don't like musicals or Abba" You can't help but love this film Unless of course you have had your sense of humour gene removed
Cate in NZ
Not seen it yet but i fully intend too, it's just a matter of finding the time. But I've got a rainy weekend forecast, so maybe a dose of "Mamma Mia" will be the perfect antidote to the rainy, winter blues
