susanbb
I wonder who'll get to sing "Toxic" They're singing twice next week. An American hit and a little Brittany number.
Egluntyne
Louis is absolutely loathsome. I wish he'd sling his hook. *shudder*
chelsea
bet Diana sings "im not a girl (not yet a woman)" next week, cos she's "only little" (as she keeps going on about) I cant think of any Britney songs with yooouuuu in it Little Eoghann will sing "hit me baby one more time", with school uniform on (cos he still goes to school ) and pigtails in his big hair
xChicken04x
Must admit, I wasn't too keen on last nights performances. I'm not a fan of Take That anyway, but still... Eoghan was quite good, but in the high notes the choir sang too loud to cover up his voice. I think having a choir is a bit of a cheat , they did the same with Diana. I liked Diana from the start, very unique voice, but now I think it is forced somewhat. The hand thing that she does is also quite irritating. I'm however, jealous of her hair, how does she make back-combed look nice . Alexandra- I like her voice, but I've heard loads of people sing like that. JLS- Not too keen. They strike me as a bit 'gimmicky' as Simon Cowel would say. Rachel- Loved her voice, but her attitude let her down. Looking forward to Brittany week, that will be interesting. I think heard Dermot say someone else is going to be on the show, but I didn't catch it, probably just imagined it .
aaronmusgrove123
yes your right there is i think its miley cyrus (hannah montana) who is very annoying and american (not being nasty just she has a very american attude)

jlo
Just on to put in my twopenneth ... So-o-o pleased that Rachel has gone. I am sorry but she was flat on so many occasions that it was torture to listen to. I think that she perhaps could have had a good voice but she completely ruined "Rule the World!" Having said that, I thought that she was far more gracious than Iwould have expected of her when she was voted off. I don't get Diana at all and find her voice quite irritating. I also don't get the appeal of the wee Irish fella. I agree with someone else who said that he was covered by the choir. he just doesn't have a strong voice. Alexandra (imho) is the one with the most talent and I hope that she gets through. I did't watch X-Factor last year. Were Same Difference that annoying then? The song sounded as though it was taken from High School Musical Rant over

Egluntyne
I did't watch X-Factor last year. Were Same Difference that annoying then? The song sounded as though it was taken from High School Musical They were 10 time worse. A strangely disturbing duo I thought. I won't repeat what my son had to say about them.....this being a family forum and all. I agree about Eoghan and Diana...could someone please buy her a hairbrush too. Her voice goes right through me....it is so phoney. I can't decide between Alexandra and Ruth for the winner.
Snowy
Alexandra and Ruth are the only two who can really put on a stage performance as well as sing, although I think Alexandra will be more versatile, Ruth is just gorgeous as she is! Ain't Nobody Here
Whew, I've caught up with X Factor after doing the ironing at midnight! 1. I don't rate JLS - I think they're all a bit weak individually and nothing special together (although they seem like nice guys). 2. Diana's voice is getting boring rather than quirky now. Does she have to yelp at the end of every line? Her voice was a bit weak too - I couldn't hear her half the time. And is there an invisible force field that drags her hand upwards but just to her chin? 3. Eoghan is sweet but his voice is not strong enough (bless him, he's only little!) 4. I'm glad Rachel went - she's not versatile enough and so she sounds the same every week. 5. I really like Ruth and Alexandra - don't mind which of them wins! Has anyone read Chart Throb by Ben Elton? I'm half way through it - it's a total parody of X Factor and is very funny. After reading it you get so cynical about the programme - in the book everything is staged from who gets through each round, to the comments of the judges (including slanging matches) and the eventual winner. I wonder if X Factor is like that .
Cinnamon
I haven't read that, but I loved 'Popcorn' by him so I might add it to my next Amazon order Thanks for the tip!

I am in total agreement with jlo. We are voting for Alexandra:D I have to say, though I quite like Diana usually, she was rubbish this week! So glad that Rachel went, at last. Her attitude problem had totally alienated me and I think JLS would have done "Rule the World" much better. That said she did go quietly in the end. DD adores Same Difference, but even she was disappointed at their performance on Saturday. They were obviously lipsyncing and what on earth was going on with Sarah's hair? Rhydian was great though. So much better than Leon. He was robbed last year!
Ain't Nobody Here
I never watched X Factor last year so Same Difference and Rydian were a complete surprise to me . (I'd heard their names but never seen them.) Is it just me or is Rhydian a bit odd ? Same Difference were so cheesy and fake looking - is that fair or were they good during the X Factor? I agree with you Vikki - we didn't watch it last year. Rhydian actually scares me a little bit He's a very strange looking man! I didn't care for his singing much either. Sorry. Same Difference remind me of a Drew Barrymore film called Never Been Kissed where she is a twenty something woman journalist who has to go back to high school to get a good story. She and David Arquette dress up as youngsters and frankly look a bit silly and thats just what Same Difference look like to me - freakily old but young. Snowy
Was I dreaming, or did I hear on the news that Robbie Williams will be replacing Danii as a judge?? I wonder if X Factor is like that . Yes I thoroughly enjoyed it. Interestingly, Ben claimed he didnt have a mole in the X-factor camp, just what he heard through the grapevine and his knowledge of how these things are likely to work. My contribution? Alexandra to win Diana comes across like a spoiled brat and her voice gives me indigestion JLS nice blokes but vocally weak Ruth- nice girl with fabulous upholstery but who will buy her records? Can't be bothered with the rest. It was nice to see Rhydian again, sort of weird but very talented. Same Difference are as phoney and disturbing as they were last year, like two escaped Redcoats on the wrong medication.
Egluntyne
Diana comes across like a spoiled brat and her voice gives me indigestion Same here. It is so phoney and put on and that little scream she does at the end of each line makes me very irritated. She should be prevented from singing the word Yeeeeeeeeooooouuuuuuuu ever again. susanbb
I read on the Yahoo website that the winner's song is going to be Leonard Cohen's, "Hallelujah" and that Diana had preiously sung it in the earlier rounds.

If thats the case I reckon its a complete set up, she really isnt that good a singer but I think she's popular with the youth of today and Cowell sees ££££ as he obviously knows how many votes are coming in.
