Guest
Is there anyway of leaving negative feedback for a buyer now?! I sold some stuff recently, and one of the buyers took over a week to pay, despite the listing stating that payment was required within three days. It then took me a further 3 days to post the item - a point that I informed the buyer about when still waiting payment - and they have now emailed stating that they intend to leave negative feedback 'due to the excessively long amount of time' they waited to receive the item. I posted it it 'next day delivery', at a P&P loss to myself, and they took blumming ages to pay, and now I can't leave negative feedback. Or can I?? ubereglu
Unfortunately I don't think you can anymore due to a previous discussion that was had, maybe you could report him though if you feel really angry.
Shirl
No you can't and you can't even leave a negative comment within positive feedback otherwise it will be removed. What you needed to do was report them as a non paying bidder when the 3 days were up. Ebay isn't what it used to be
Guest
No you can't leave a neg. Bloomin annoying - I got negged by a NUMPTY but can't neg back. All you can do is put a comment under their neg. IMHO this is ruining Ebay. Sellers are now in a very poor position and they say they have done it to protect buyers. If they had no sellers they would make no money. Ebay isn't what it used to be I tried to report them after three days, but it wouldn;t let me, saying that you couldn;t report something as unpaid until 7 days after the listing had ended. It's a pain, and it's put me right off listing things on ebay again.
bokbokbok
Have you had any more communication with them since they sent that email? If you haven't replied yet I would email them back and say *I'm sorry you are having a bad time with eBay at the moment - I am not sure who it was that took too long to send their item to you but as you can see from my email of **th I had previously informed you that I wouldn't be posting it until the **th.* Keep it light and airy and backed up with facts. Send a copy of the email you sent. Be aware that I complained to a seller recently that they had not replied to my email and they pointed out they HAD but the message was sitting in my eBay messages - that one. particular. annoying. email didn't make it to my email inbox! These things DO happen - perhaps the other person didn't receive your message - you could try tacking that on to your next email : *Please check your eBay messages for a copy of my last email stating I would not be sending the item until *th* Hopefully this might help - and dampen them down from NEGATIVE to NOTHING which is what I did with my last person. I'd leave a reply to her negative feedback stating how long it took her to pay and then leave a neutral comment withi your positive feedback. I wouldn't worry too much because people are taking less notice of negs now. I'm paranoid about getting one and bend over beackwards to post same/next day and keep customer informed but I bet it won't be long before I get one. Cooks
I have to admit, I wont list anything on there anymore, their charges have gone right up as well. I am doing a carboot instead if it ever stops raining on a sunday morning
Cinnamon
We have a non paying bidder at the moment,on a £3000 motorbike Honestly, people like that drive me spare.he hasn't replied to any emails,& we have tried phoning him too,but he is always 'unavailable'. He will be getting a neg from me,which I think I can leave as I have gone through the NPB process......
Couperman
How long has feedback or should I say feed-back been a swear word? I thought it was just a word. If I am behind the times then I apologise for swearing but I think the swear box checker thing might have gone a bit potty Kev.

Couperman
You what,Kev? Jerry has fixed it, but earlier every mention of Ebay 'oops word censored' was replaced with 'oops word censored' (the swear checker thing took offence to 'feedback') my post looks a bit odd now its sorted Kev. MedusA
I really dislike the way eBay is going now. I think the charges are extortionate and make it hardly worth the effort to advertise "cheap" items. Still. At least Freecycle and charity shops may benefit. Snowy
I've just decided against putting a load of toys on ebay and have freecycled them instead At one time they would have sold like hot cakes (all fisher price and little tikes) but checking past sales of the same things shows that they went for pennies and would cost more to sell than could be made. Oh well, I have a very happy lady coming to collect them tomorrow morning.

AnnieP
I haven't used ebay for ages now. Just cannot muster the enthusiasm somehow. Plus the fact that my local post office has closed, so sending parcels is now a real chore! Well done Snowy for freecycling the toys. Some happy children this weekend! Cooks
I freecycled two black bin bags of my boys outgrown clothes the other week, I couldn't be bothered to carboot those and thought they would be snapped up, I think that was my record number of freecycle replies! Have to admit I would have loved that many clothes when mine were little.
