Car park rage

Recommended Posts

I once told a sweet looking old dear in tescos car park that she had parked in mother & child, thinking she was a bit dippy & hadn't noticed.

She told me exactly where to go,to keep my nose out of her business & that she could park exactly where she liked .....in very loud, very colourful language

Another time when there was a fair bit of snow on the ground covering the M&C space markings, a woman squeezed her car into the gap between my car & the one next to me.

She came back and obviously knew what she had done, & had been taking advantage of the snow!

Hubby gets annoyed at the B&Q car park when he goes in his van & people in hatchbacks have parken in the long vehicle spaces.

In fact he maintains that he has never once been able to park his van in such a space as there are always little cars in them

So,his van has to take up 2 normal parking spaces instaed - mad!

Poor you ANH, it sounds like a horrible experience.

I believe in karma - she will get hers!

I have a confession  some years ago I had a similar situation except that I was parked in a college car park waiting for my eldest daughter to enrol when the Young girl in her 20's & driver of the car parking opposite me on the end of a row but not a space would block me in got . I asked her if she was stopping for any length of time as I knew my daughter would not be :!:. Having four kids I had a huge 7 seat Volvo Estate and knew would not be able to get out, She looked at me as if I had two heads sneered and said " I dunno as long as it takes " shrugged her shoulders and and walked of  . my daughter then returned and we began to wait :!: and wait :!: I was getting crosser and crosser by the minute :x after 40 minutes I had had enough

And after about 20 minutes of complicated inch by inch manouvering I managed to get out of my space by this time the red veil had descended

In a moment of  revenge I found a pen top in my car and let down 1 of her tyre's :oops: not a very mature example to my daughter I know but boy was it satisfying knowing the little cocky madam would have to re inflate her tyre who said revenge isen't sweet it was that day :!: Of course I am now much older calmer & wiser & a believer in what goes around comes around  )

A note on the windscreen pointing out that next time you will use a tin opener to sreate the necesary space is fairly satisfying

Ohhh! I like that. :D Although I do think the note with one flattened tire would make me feel better. :D And if Karma came knocking, I would accept my due.
