Seagazer
Did anyone see him on Take Two during the week though? They followed him for the day - he was up at the crack of dawn exercising and then took his top off to go into the shower. I did actually shudder yuk. I hope they get Mark some acting lessons like they did for Gethin.
clootie
I must confess Seagazer I did see that too. It's the posing nude that finally finished me off !!

susanbb
No doubt he'll be on Strictly It Takes Two with Claudia tonight. By telephone as he was already in Dubai. You could hear the "phew" relief in Karen's voice. had to laugh that when he said he's knock on her door for a ballroom lesson that she retorted so quickly that she'd have the door locked
clootie
Made me laugh too !! The look of sheer panic on her face was priceless !!
MedusA
Karen definitely deserves a better partner next season. Out first week last year and second week (for the boys) this year! Very much looking forward to seeing the girls and boys compete against each other in two weeks time.
The Dogmother
Now, while I think that Mark Foster is a god, I was reading this article about John Sergeant and have to agree. We all love a 'Gentle Man' And it set me thinking about how one's taste in men changes... as a friend said 'at my age, I'm just glad if they have their own teeth and don't dribble'. Once one for the superficially good looking men, it wasn't until I hit my forties that my grandmother's saying hit home: 'Handsome is as handsome does; beauty is only a genetic accident'. So I'm rooting for John!
Egluntyne
I agree too. He is such a gent and very modest and funny. Give me those characteristics every time. Be honest, who would you rather have dinner with...John Sergeant or Gary Rhodes? Him Indoors remarked that John and Kristina looked like Father Christmas dancing with Marilyn Munroe....in a delightful sort of way. He's right...they do. The Dogmother
I totally agree Egluntine; I like to be entertained and treated with respect

Absolutely! Your OH has hit the nail on the head there, Egluntine! I love JS too, but don't honestly think he will win. Someone young and lithe will. Guest
John's humour is really dry - and surprisingly like Jo Brand's! I really laughed when he talked about his 'raw sexuality'!!
Seagazer
The reason I like him is because he is a 'gentleman', he has manners and does not seem to 'need' to win like so many others, that is always off-putting. Its all well and good to be in things to win but sometimes its very unattractive. Plus I still think he looks like Martin Clunes' dad and I really like him. So that's two love children then...Martin Clunes and Jo Brand...he must have been quite a beau in his youth!!!
The Dogmother
I've just read a biog of John and see that he comes from round these parts!
chickencam
He's not related to Jo Brand then? They talk and look so alike and he has a wicked sense of humour.

I love a man who can make me laugh. I read somewhere (don't know if it's right though) that JS used to be a comedian.
Egluntyne
Anyone watch tonight? Cheri was absolutely fantastic again. Bruce fluffed his lines several times again, even when cracking jokes about not being doddery.
bellekatz
I think Cheri is Fab too - it just proves that its not always youth that makes the best dancer! I loved the boys group dance - they really seemed to enjoy it which is what matters So who do you think will leave - maybe Jessie will actually go this time -she really annoys me whereas I rather like Jodie as a person even if she has no dance sense! Egluntyne
Jessie should go. She was sulky and very ungracious when criticised. I rather liked Jodies performance tonight...it was far more elegant than I thought it would be. I hope she doesn't have to go into the dance off. Ian got a bit carried away! The Dogmother
I managed to miss it yet again, but Rosie called through to me in the kitchen that there was some 'wiggly chest action' going on Not sure whether is was male or female though.
