Lindy Loo
I have a lovely looking savoy cabbage relaxing in the fridge which I got as part of a "job lot" with other veg. Personally I quite like a bit of cabbage now and then but my family don't share my views on this! Tonight is the night so does anyone have a tasty take on the old savoy which I can use to tempt my family's taste buds with?
Rhapsody
Ooooh yes!! One of my fave side veg is shredded cabbage stir-fried with black mustard seeds, hot paprika and sea salt.
Egluntyne
Ditto to the cabbage stirfry. If you don't want the cabbage.....the hens will enjoy it!
Milly
Or stir fry with some bacon and onion. Eat as a veg or with pasta and some grated cheesee and olive oil. Milly
Guest
I made bubble and squeak with some savoy last week. Just cold mashed potato and cold cooked cabbage fried in butter til golden and a little bit caramelised, have it with sausages and onion gravy, delish! I gave some to our girls and they turned up their noses at it. We had to pick it all up the next day and day old cabbage whiffs worse than hen poop! theherd123
I have been told you can stuff it in your bra if you have sore boobs - as a new mum i haven't tried this but i think its better than eating it! I hate cabbage
kannie
Shred it finely, shave on some parmesan cheese (with a potato peeler), and dress with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and black pepper for a lovely salad!
