Redwing
Hi Phonix. Plum gave me two virtual chickens when I got my Eglu and was keeping it in my front room for a while (was moving house) They are lovely and quiet, no mess or smells and very friendly. I am not able to give them the refined sort of attention they have been used to since my loud and pushy real ladies arrived. So here they are for you at Plum's kind request - look after them! MedusA
Him Indoors was mightily concerned the first time I went to a get together. We had all sorts of safety thingies in place. I couldn't quite believe that I was doing the very thing we urge our children not to do....meet total strangers we have only encountered online. At least it was in a public place and I could scarper if I didn't like the look of them. I did......like the look of them, that is. That's exactly how I met my OH (through a posting board for a TV show). DD and I were both fans and went along to a Posting Board Party (with much trepidation) and have never looked back. The people I met there are now some of my best friends, although we never seem to talk about the show that brought us together any more. I guess it was, as others have said, just a case of meeting like-minded people, and hitting it off immediately. That said, I find my friends are either really enthusiatic about my chickens or just roll their eyes when I wax lyrical.
