Ygerna
Some of you may have read that I confessed to DH, by email, that I am bidding on an eglu on ebay. I wasn't expecting a particularly supportive response. However All he asked was if they were going in the Garden or down the Allotment, so, I said Garden and he said, 'yeah, thats better, the eglu is too expensive to leave down there' I was completely taken aback. So, I took this as a positive sign and said that if I didnt win this one, I would wait until after Christmas so that I would have more money to be able to get one then. Please, everyone keep your fingers crossed for me and my bid. I am suffering with bidder stress already and there is still a few days to go before it ends. ..lay a little egg for me
Do you use bidnapper or similar? I find it the least stressful way of bidding on the expensive items.
Ygerna
Do you use bidnapper or similar? I find it the least stressful way of bidding on the expensive items. My DH does, and I usually ask him to bid on things when I want to use it. But because I was doing this secretly I couldn't ask him to set it up. My big fear is that no one wil bid on it and then someone will use a snipe or bidnapper and beat me. If it goes over my budget I guess it doesnt matter when they bid, it would just be hugely disappointing. I have over two days to wait, anyone got any idea how to stop myself from refreshing my ebay page every 20 minutes
Cinnamon
I use Auction Sniper & I can honestly say that since using it I have rarely if ever lost out on a win. I can send you a link if you pm me. It keeps the price down too - fewer people bidding against you......& there is nothing like the buzz you get from seeing your bid placed in the last couple of seconds
Ain't Nobody Here
Good luck . I use the old fashioned "wait till 13 seconds remain" method. It usually works but I sometimes worry that I'll conk out 'cos my heart thumps like I've had a huge shock .
