ali-s
........ To sunny Nottingham on Thursday morning. This will be the first time I have driven down South by myself and I am dreading it Should take about 10 hours but i will be happy if I do the journey in 12 hours and get there in one piece So if you see a yellow Fiat Siecento with harrassed looking lady driver, bored teenager with map, angry looking ten year and small white puppy with large ears, please give me a wave OH is looking after the chickens (poor things) and Buttercup has gone broody today (6th time this year since January) Wish me luck

Cate in NZ
What a drive Ali, good luck with it and I hope that your passengers behave and don't start chanting "Are we there yet" too early into the trip. Do I remember right when I think that you've got family in Nottingham I hope you have a lovely time
Guest
Will look out for you - we always look out for your yellow Siecento when we are over the forth and playing yellow car - I even peeped at one once, in the hope it was you! Have a save journey - I just drove to and from Llandudno - not quite as far as you have to drive, but plenty motorway driving - not my favourite! We bought the audio version of Harry Potter - kept the children AND chookiehubbie quiet the whole way there and back!

ali-s
I wish the pup was driving Hopefully if I am on the correct road Edinburgh should be miles away and if I reach Annie's I have gone too far. Getting excited now Haven't been 'home' for nearly 2 years. My Aunt who emigrated to New Zealand 30 years ago will be visiting. Mums cooking, Nottingham accents and shops, lots and lots and lots of shops..........lovely
