Krispy Kreme bonanza

Recommended Posts

just been reading the web site and it says they use egg but dosn't specify the kind of egg so I've mailed them to ask.

I bought a Viennese biccie selection today, Asda's own, and they use free range egg which I was pleased to see

does anyone know if they're made with free range eggs?

AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never thought of that.

:cry::drool::cry::drool::cry::drool::cry::drool::cry::drool::cry:

I'll let you know what they say.

I was gutted to find out that my favourite brioche from Aldi doesn't say free range egg so I'll have to make my own :(

Whenever OH is in London he has to bring some home with him (freshly done in Harrods). Tesco's in Camberley do them but not such a good selection and they always seem to be stale too, so not an option any more.

Any with cream or custard fillings for me. DD loves sprinkles. DS will eat any, and OH likes the maple ones or the glazed custard ones.

A moment on the lips?? Nothing goes on my lips - just direct route into the gob! Arghhh - I'm fat!!!!!

Hi Justine,

We only use the yolk part of the egg and it’s not certified free range.

Kind regards

I don't buy them but was curious about the ingredients, I read on their web site that...

For over 60 years, our customers have been enjoying Krispy Kreme doughnuts made from premium ingredients.

I wouldn't call battery eggs "premium ingredients".

Just goes to show what erroneous claims can be made with impunity!

If anyone is near Bluewater there's a Krispy Kreme shop there. You can actually watch the doughnut conveyor belt through the windows and see them being cooked.

Sorry though, I'm not a Krispy Kreme fan myself.....I'm missing the sweet tooth gene (I don't go much on chocolate either  )....give me a packet of salted peanuts instead any day of the week

I'd go for the peanuts, then the doughnut!!!

Maybe that's why Weigh Watchers did quite well out of me this year  !
