A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I made these from thick red felt, white wool and pillow stuffing. They are from 7-12cm high/long. Yes, that is popcorn they are strung from! Thick felt is evil to sew and I can't feel my fingers anymore. Ho hum! I like them though. Valkyrie
Great - I like the popcorn chain too. I have a feeling if we did anything involving popcorn there wouldn't be enough left to make a chain with (DD popcorn munching queen). Chook n Boo Mum
I found an old packet of un-popped corn in the back of the cupboard the other day, so am using it as packing for my hampers. (thanks Lush for the idea!) I popped a load that afternoon & came into the kitchen to find DH with a mouth and handful , having already chased the children away earlier! Fortunately it was only a couple of weeks out of date, but it had been open a long time, so definitely past it's best!! Was going to get the children to string some on thread, as per Anna (chickychickychick-ENN!!)'s felt hanger, without the felt bits, to hang around the trees for the birds in the garden. Maybe they'd like a new pack in their stockings... ? Lovely decs Anna, do you have time for anything other than crafting (and chooks of course!) though? A chickychickychick-ENN!!
They don't take long. I believe in knitting and sewing on commuting journeys and it gets the carriage talking to each other too.
