Topdollar
hehe nice one my OH would kill me but i've managed to persuade her that a large walk will increase the girls quality of life. I already have plans to hatch some chicks and increase the flock ( I hope she doesn't read this ) good luck with your new ladies

tom123
My Dad said he would wait in the car while I 'ran in' to get the drinker and I told him I would have a quick 'browse'... I was half and hour and bought two hens! I walked up to the car with the drinker in the box with the hens and my dad asked what it was and I told it was the drinker and he looked at me curiously then when I got in the car they started bokking on my lap and he just looked at me and said ' Oh Tom' and laughed! So now more dreaded intros! wish me luck! Some pics tomorrow of them and an update on the 'oldies'! Tom

likeastar--x
hahaha your dad is a legend! i did a similar thing, went with my dad to get some flubenvet from a chicken breeder and he went inside and when he came back out he had the flubenvet balanced on a box, he put it in the boot so i couldnt hear them clucking, and when we got home i found 2 new bantams wandering around the garden and my mum was so shocked her first thought was that they had hatched out of one of the girls eggs honestly! looking forward to photos!
