Remember my little Åsa who broke her leg last month and went to the vet to get a splint put on (she's now fully recovered)? Well she laid her first egg today and it's a tiny one, just like her! It's like a grape, only 7g. I'm so proud of her as she's such a lovely girl anyway! She started crouching about a week ago and like Tiina my other leghorn (Åsa is half leghorn, half light sussex) she's a very pally girl, following me around, and whenever I go near them, both Åsa and Tiina throw themselves on the floor, in a stamping, crouching session!!

She laid another this morning a 42g effort. So I had two white eggs today! Hurrah!
