I notice that there are currently 14 of us online . This time last year I touted the idea of trying to get as many users online at the same time.... it was organised for Friday 23rd Sept ...... I couldn't make it but 28 of us did!

As the anniversary is approaching, is it time we try to break this record?

You know, I was just thinking about that the other day - maybe we should, as, with the forum membership well over 1,000 now, we could smash the record if we tried!

We've got quite a lot of new members since then, so it should be possible

I seem to remember there was quite a bit of jiggery-pokery and staying logged on for a long time involved before we achieved it last time, but it was hilarious, mad postings coming from everywhere

I'm up for it again, I just hope that it's possible to do it at a time that I'm around.

I seem to remember that the last time we did it, it was decided that a late Friday afternoon was the best for most people - would this work this year again, or is there any suggestions for another time/day?

Trick is to stay moving or the bean counter can't see you even if you are logged on so you need to hop in and out of the sections even when there are no changes to read

I can do am friday 22nd Sept but not 23rd as on holiday...away...hurrah!!!

I can generally make just about any time on a Friday , but I've voted for 5-6pm, simply because later in the evening I tend to be fighting the children for computer rights. But I can bribe them if we go for a later time

I have voted Friday 22nd September 5 -6 pm.

 

Last year I had to take Jack to the swimming pool, so I left Natalie in front of the computer with instructions to surf the site until I got back I got to the pool and back in an all time record

The 23rd was chosen last year because it was the first anniversary of the first time that there was a record number of people in the forum - but Friday is generally a better day I haven't voted yet, probably Friday 5pm-6pm

I am never sure when I will be at work on a saturday until a few days before the event

 

So Friday suits me best and I can be flexible with the time as well so long as it is before 6pm

I have voted for the Friday, as I have to go to court on the Friday morning (to give evidence), so chookiehubbie will be off, so I can log in on the lap-top, and he can visit as a guest on his computer!

Oh no - I'm at work until 1730 and then driving home until 1800!

As long as work's not busy I can log on before leaving, but will have to vanish to drive home and see if I can get in in time to help just before 6pm!

Last year I was really chuffed because I was a new member and 23rd September is my birthday. But then I couldn't get to the computer - too many visitors

 

5-6pm on 22nd is probably good for me as I can log on while the children eat their Friday pizzas!. Technically I'm available on any of the times, but Saturday will probably be difficult - because of all those birthday treats DH is bound to have organised.

It was exciting last year, although I wasn't able to join in at the agreed time. Of course, there are far more members now, so the record should be easily beaten.

I've voted 5-6 Friday as Sats. are difficult.
