It's a shame that some of the British press have an obsession with 'celebrity' and feel the need to nosey out everything about someone's life

 

This guy seems like a nice chappy but the whole thing about The Stig was that we didn't know who he was and I don't feel that we needed to know who he was knowing that he is not a famous F1 driver etc... is a bit of an anticlimax after the fun years of speculation

It's like someone telling a small child that Father Christmas or the tooth fairy don't exist. I really can't understand why someone fetl the need to spill the beans - I don't really watch TV, but I guess that it will have spoiled the myth.

that's just how I feel. I am a complete top gear addict, but although we all joke about wanting to know who the stig was I didn't really want to know. It is like finding out about santa .

Yes even though I've always said it was Ben Collins I liked not knowing and that just being my opinion. It ruins it now doesn't it
