The Dogmother
I liked that he 'just had to' survive on a bottle of whiskey - a real hardship Bit like being trapped in a cake store!

surferdog
Hmmm. Will keep this story away from OH - would hate for him to become 'trapped' under the sofa with a bottle of whiskey
mostin
Fantastic storey , it reminds us all to never be without a bottle of booze at all times
bronze
Because of course he would have died without anything for two days
Olly
Well I actually do keep a bottle of whisky by the bed (tricky things, those mattress toppers) and there's gin in the kitchen dresser, just in case it topples over. I keep wine in the downstairs loo, I just thought it was a useful place for storage, but you never know when the door might suddenly stick. I don't think my sofa is supplied with anything life-sustaining, although there's probably enough crumbs down there to keep me going for a bit! Who'd have thought soft furnishings could be so treacherous.

I'm sure you would find a fluffy Polo or two (ooops! that sounds like I think you specifically! - I meant we wouild all find fluffy Polos )
The Dogmother
I can't imagine knocking my sofa over - it has a solid wooden frame and is very heavy - 2 burly men can only just lift it!
