I've just been having a google as the Tarpaflex ones are out of stock and have found this company

Prices seem good and not bad p&p either. Am going to order one tomorrow so i'll let you know if its good and if i have any problems etc.

I've orderd and had an email to say it's been dispatched and is coming by Fedex. It should be here tomorrow or Friday. I'll let you know what it's like once it arrives.

I am hopefully buying an eglu and run and would like to get some clear tarpaulin. What size would I need for the eglu and run? I did look at tarpaflex but seemed to be out of stock.

I've orderd the 2x3m one. I have a convertor on my eglu run and am hoping it will cover that as well.

That's great I am going to get some. Have you attached with bungee cords or something else?

 

I have the 2m cube coming in february so the 2x3 will be plenty!

As it already has eyelets in the tarp i've threaded a cable tie through each and attached it like that.

Edited: I was talking through my hat here. As it is 2m wide, make the width the length and there isn't a problem!

 

I would be inclined to go for the 2.4m width for the Cube run, so it goes down the sides a bit. My Cube run seems to get a lot wetter than the Eglu run, even though the top is completely covered.

 

Has anyone got a picture I can see before I buy? I am tempted, as the snow has finished off my old Omlet covers.

 

How do you cope with the bit of length you don't need (a Cube with standard run is 2m, + a 1m extension makes 3m; but part of that 3m is occupied by the Cube itself). Does it fold over easily?

 

Would the bungee hooks off my old covers fit this tarpaulin?

Claire, can you tell me if it's possible to thread a pole or something into the seam at the bottom? I'm thinking not, because of the eyelets .

Because of the eyelets and the way the tarp is sealed, i don't think you could thread anything through.

OK, thanks, I thought as much . I'm trying to think of a way of making a roll-down blind (like Tessa the Duchess' clever setup) and thought weighting down the blind as well as attaching it with clips/bungees or whatever would be a good idea (we have a very (very) windy garden ).

I have a tarpaflex clear tarpaulin, it covers the length of the run and goes from from bottom of one side up and over leaving one side open (see where bungee cord is on pic) as its too wide I have simply creased it making sure the excess 'points downwards' so that water doesnt collect in it. As the crease is on the fully covered side I can't see it when looking at the run so from my point of view it looks absolutely perfect the pic shows it pushed back which I do on sunny days

eglu bungee cords are fine to use on this tarp
