Cate in NZ
Well, it's been a while, but I'm finally back . Moved into the new house just before Christmas, and have spent the past month settling in and getting things sorted, oh and entertaining MIL who arrived for a 5 week stay on Jan 3rd. It's been a busy time, mainly good busy but a few stressful moments too (MIL ) although I'm at last feeling as we've made progress and we're all feeling really settled and established in our new home. sadly though we've had major grief with the Telecom company and we've not yet got broadband internet access, so we're struggling, very, very slowly to use the internet. We're pushing for broadband, so hopefully eventually we'll get it, *fingers crossed*. Anyway, it's good to be back, I hope that I've not missed anything too major going on on the forum, and that life is treating you all well. I'll start another thread later today about my gradually expanding family......no chickens yet, but a few other 4 legged beasties have come to join us
BeckyBoo
Welcome back! Intrigues by your new four legged friends and can't wait to see some pictures from your new adventures on t'other side of the world! Dial up must be excruciating, I know I'm lucky to be on broadband but I still remember how SLOW dial up is! Hope MIL is having a nice stay, and that the weather is being kind to you - it's flippin' freezing over here!! Take care, look forward to your new beastie thread! BeckyBoo (was Mrs Bertie!) Sheilaz
Just brilliant to hear from you Cate. We all enjoy your updates & can't wait to hear more. Glad MIL arrived safely, I'm sure it's been hard work but fun, and difficult saying all those goodbyes again. Lots of memories of precious time together though for her & all of you. I know it's not all sheer biss (eg. no broadband!) but your thread is so escapist for us, especially with talk of extra animals. Love to all xx
