Can I feed the girls mashed potato as a treat in the afternoon, we often have some left over from dinner. I know they can't have raw potato but not sure about mashed?

they ADORE the stuff I often make it just for them and sometimes stir in a tin of tuna chunks (brine rinsed off) for extra protein.

 

I don't add salt or butter to the mash I make especially for the girls but if we have any leftover mash from dinner, it does have some butter and milk in it but then they only have a small amount of that.

Mine love mashed spuds. I cook it specially for them and often make it creamy with a spoonful of probiotic yoghurt. And I chuck in a few peas

mine love the peelings cooked, and i add carrot peelings in etc, and boil it then give it to them, wow they went mad.

but give them carrot cold etc they leave it

They had mashed potato this afternoon for the first time and they loved it. I am sure it cheered them up as they were not impressed by all the snow this morning.

Me too, but hubby doesn't know, I do the same when I cook pasta too
