Ygerna
Just seen a cube on ebay for sale and I am NEEDING it I actually put in a 'BEST OFFER' bid Why? Why would I want another one? Is there a helpline number I can ring for some counselling? Is there some sort of medication I can take? Does Paul Mckenna do self hypnosis CD's for this? Is there no hope for me? Ygerna
Hi my name is Emma, and I am an Omlet addict. I have been logged into the forum for the last 48hrs and have just offered on a cube on Ebay like Ygerna Hope it`s not the same one! Dont panic Emma, my offer has been declined and I have managed to close the ebay page now. Phew, so, out of sight (almost) out of mind Good luck though, I would love it to go to someone on here,
Falkor
My offer have been declined also. And I have had a word with myself and decided to..................buy a new one from Omlet Talked it throught with OH and had already spoken to the chickens about it and they are all on board! Just need to sell and Wii to pay for it!
Cooks
I have to sell my eglu as well, to finance the cube, well to repay some money into the bank, but luckily I have had a buyer for ages!
Redwing
I have to say that orange cube is a bargain! I have £500 in an account to pay my FIL back for something and if he wasn't coming to visit tomorrow I might have spent that on the cube and arrange to pay him from next months wages instead (he is a saint and wouldn't have minded) My husband (voice of doom) who doesn't have his dads generous spirit said no
Falkor
The cube has been ended? I wonder who got it....it wasn`t me
Cooks
It's not that much of a bargain IMO, they are not much more from the omlet shop without the run. Just over £400, so it's only a small saving, and you dont know if it has plastic roosting bars, by the closed door I would pressume not. But it's up to the bidder to decide of course. I would personally buy new from omlet with only a small saving like that, then at least you have a guarantee. edited to add... it was bought for £350 with buy it now. Redwing
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! *sinks to knees sobbing* "it could have been me, it could have been me" *hits ground then gets up asking where the chocolate is*

Redwing
Its days like this I miss living in Bristol opposite an all night garage
Falkor
I messaged the seller and it had wooden bars also looks like it has been under that tree for a while as it has a fair bit of bird poop on. I am glad my offer was declined.... I will be buying new from Omlet so will have plastic roosting bars and also they will fix it if a problem etc. Does the nice Omlet van come if you don`t order chickens or is it the dreaded night freight?
Egluntyne
Night Freight as a rule. Why not throw in a couple of chickens if you live in the delivery area.
Cooks
I had the omlet van with no chickens... check in the shop, you can do a postcode search to see if your in their delivery area.
Falkor
hmmmmm I just put a cube with chickens in my shopping basket and it said van and then put a cube no chickens in and it said courier??!! I am closer to Omlet than you too I think. I will call Omlet tomorrow to see if I can get the van (and ask about a recon) . I don`t mind paying a little extra if they are going to build it for me
Cooks
yes I ordered mine over the phone not online so I dont know fur sure, and there was some mix up with my postcode
mostin
The cube has been ended? I wonder who got it....it wasn`t me *peeps out from behind the door* sorry guys it was me . I'm an omlet addict too. We decided the other day we needed a cube without a run as OH is building a walk in run. It's £446 for a new one with delivery and he's going right past the sellers for business on thurs so we've no fuel to pay for. So I've saved £100 . I hope it's a good one. It''s certainly the best valentines present I've ever had
Ms Marple
I too must be an addict of sorts!! I come on here late at night and read all the comments and dream of maybe oneday- a walk-in run, a blue eglu, a red cube, being able to accurately proof read, another Joanna Lumley hat........ Then I look at pictures... I looked at yours Mostin - I don't know what you look like but I am sure I spotted an Egluntine and a Claret with an upsidedown chicken in the snow!!!! I've never held a chicken upsidedown- should I ?
