I think the new cubes come with the large door as standard - might be worth ringing Omlet on Monday and checking.

Apparently they are standard on the new cubes....which is fortunate.

The old style door is tiny, so you can't get inside the run to clean it..........unless you wriggle on your belly through the gap . I'm hoping I can squeeze through the big door without getting poo all over me If not, the kids are going in!

pants, they're not open today = tried to phone. My cube's a recon, so I assume the run will be an old fashioned tiny porthole one

Fingers crossed - I phoned omlet today and the lady on the phone said that all cubes are going out with the bigger door. I hope she's right.

 

Somehow accidentally managed to add an extension to the run onto my order. Well, it'd be daft to pay an extra delivery cost for one in a couple of months' time ...

They are £45 + delivery - I have just ordered mine - think in total it was £51 (and a few pence).

I am so tempted, but also a bit cross that Omlet didn't make the door like this in the first place. It is so obviously needed.

 

Can anyone see any drawbacks with the new door? I need to be persuaded not to spend more money.

 

On the other hand, the old front would be just the thing to put under the eglu to stop rats tunnelling in.
