Mel (& Paul)
Noo! squashed fly bisuits are lovely!!! I guess neither of you like Malt loaf either (and why is it impossible to have only one slice - I have been known to eat a whole one in one go )
Nicola H
Have you noticed that when you buy the ready sliced malt loaf that the slices are far too small.............I could eat the whole loaf too Mel.....
Guest
I hate Christmas pudding (and cake - and mince pies - and... I can add to this list! Eccles Cakes (Dead fly pie as its know!) And ' Squashed Fly Biscuits' (Garibaldi!) We had Garibaldi biscuits whilst on holiday this year. Now my children are desperately looking for a bald guy called Gary, so they can laugh and call him Gary-Baldy. Does anyone know one?
Lesley
- I bet he'll be really pleased as well I actually love malt loaf - as long as the raisins aren't obvious, in which case, I pick them out I usually make my own and substitute apricots and then I do eat the whole loaf - it's much safer for me to buy a squashed fly one and not eat much. I also pick all the fruit out of a Hot Cross Bun, leaving the peel because I like it and then squash it all back together and try to toast it - I make my own with apricots - much easier than trying to get my Hot Cross bun out of the grill pan

I'm with you chaps on that one, I hate all of the above, and anything sweet with booze in it too. Now apple crumble and custard is my idea of YUM! I'll be straight over Emma....
