Avalon Fantasy
Hmm..I`m curious, I was under the impression that tickets were not going on sale until 07.00hrs friday, so how is it that you have ticket purchases already. My daughter is going to be exceedingly annoyed when I tell her..eek.. (edit) Oh I take it back, I`ve just seen that according to MTV they went on sale on his website..rhe.. I suspect it would have been nice to have realised this earlier, especialy as it was on the news that they would be on sale on friday... I`m thinking now that I shouldnt tell her..double eek. Cinnamon
There was a pin number given out to those who pre registered - then some were selected to be given the chance to buy seats. The general public can buy from tomorrow,if they can manage it!
Blackrocksrock
Another who cannot stand the man here - he was fine at the beginning but he wanted to be a white boy and all that entailed has changed him so so much.
Cooks
My older brothers bought me a ticket to go and see him (with them) when I was about 14, so *cough* 22 years ago! and he was great, I've always loved his music I guess up until the BAD album everything was fine for me and then it went downhill. I have to say I really do prefer the jackson and jackson 5 albums though. MJ's Parenting skills leave a lot to be desired, I agree, but I would listen to his music, he has the right to earn a living to support his family, otherwise he might be put down for that as well. edited to say my brothers only went because I was such a fan and they were not letting me go with anyone else.. feemcg
Sorry....don't like his music and can't even look at him......I call it the Freddie Mercury effect, can't look at him either. They both give me 'the boak'

kitbag
I didn't get any tickets. The website crashed and the phone was constantly engaged. I have cried all through the morning!
Cooks
check out ebay then they nearly always have tickets for anything you want to see. I knew someone once that bascially just bought tickets when they came available to put them on ebay to sell.
Cinnamon
I heard yesterday that they are going for £16000 a pair, for the good seats on EBay

Avalon Fantasy
Well my daughter got 2 this morning, took about 20 mins but talk about up in the gods for the £75.00 ticketmaster price block 403 row G. There was a surcharge on the tix at £9.00 each, then plus postage. But shes happy so thats fine. Regarding Ebay, it really annoys the hell out of me, many of those tickets went to people (supposedly fans?) that had no desire to see MJ just to make a quick buck, reminds me of the same happening when the Wii went on sale. And charming Feebay for all their holier than thou routine on tv last year are still letting these auctions go ahead. Tickets on their seem to be around £300 for 2 upwards, and whats not so curious is these tickets are in lower seating, many in A blocks and so forth,..real fans there then! RHE. Oh and what about the selling of the pre code thing... Goodness but that takes the biscuit. Ohh and look at this not money making person... Just now on feebay Meet the seller Seller: rockyfairfield1( 32) Feedback: 100 % Positive Buy it now price: £50,000.00 Block B1 Row E
puddleduck
I have my tickets! unfortunately up in the gods and £75 each (+all those extra fees!!!!) not complaining though! we even have 2 spares for a 2nd date a friend managed to secure! (looks like we get to go twice!!!!!!! ) they'll probably be going on ebay .... seems there are a lot of people against him on here. but he does have talent. and we all make mistakes however big or small, just not as highly documented as his! personally I can't wait... off to practice my moonwalk! ebay edited ( ) it'll be a friend profiting not me! however if anyone on here is interesting please do get in contact! Cinnamon
Good for you Puddleduck, & good for you for putting some on EBay too. I have nothing against normal everyday people who speculate to accumulate - like I did with the several Wii's I sold, & which paid for my Christmas a couple of years ago
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
I agree Cinnamon. If it's things like food and medicine in Zimbabwe that people are profiteering from, then that's out of order, but if you're prepared to pay above the odds for frivolity, then I'm all for the free market. "Ooops, word censored!"ody dies if they do or don't get concert tickets or a wii. Well, not that sort of wii anyway!

Janty
I'm with the anti-MJ crowd. I have no intention of lining his pockets so that he can 'supposedly' abuse others and buy his way out of it. I really must not get started as to how much I despise the man and his private life. Calm thoughts Jan! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
Avalon Fantasy
Reselling something because you cant go is fine, Ive plenty of friends that have done it, especially if they have purchased things months in advance, but its the blatent profiteering thats appaling. Thinking..hey.. I know people will want this so I`l buy up as much as I can and I can then sell them and make a quick buck. Earlier on the radio.. there was some silly person saying that it was perfectly fine to buy tickets and when they were all sold at face value to then put them up for sale for a profit, her comment was that supermarkets make profits so why cant she..? my thoughts are unprintable with regard to obvious stupidity on her part. However as I was driving I couldnt call in and put her straight that no its not the same. No one disputes that selling items is done at a profit, otherwise why be in business? I make items, I sell them for a fare price, I wouldnt however be too happy to see the same product I sold to someone at a fare price then being sold for as much money as someone could extort out of another just because it was the last available. I wonder if she would be happy to purchase say her food from someone outside of a superstore for more money than the store had asked for. I suspect she wouldnt, and I certainly dont need a crystal ball to work that out. The world goes around in many ways, there are many types of people in it, I personally hate seeing such blatent money grabbing because the more it grows the more we are likely sometime in our lives to fall victim to it.... Or perhaps we can say..well.. hey its just tickets... and switch off the news when it comes to other people elsewhere in the world that wish to make a quick buck, by holding back supplies... I suspect the entrepreneur selling the tickets on feebay for 50 grand has really made me angry. Just editing this post to wonder this.. Perhaps I`m being too harsh on these people.. when I showed my daughter this post she said good on you thats what I think too..but you know what mum..they could be upping the price and not fleecing people because what they are doing is giving all their profit to Comic Relief! Nice thought that but unrealistic I feel..L
Guest
Good for you Puddleduck, & good for you for putting some on EBay too. I have nothing against normal everyday people who speculate to accumulate - like I did with the several Wii's I sold, & which paid for my Christmas a couple of years ago And as you know I did too. I managed to get 4 MJ tix this morning the £75 ones, on the floor and as I may have mentioned I can't stand the man. I have sold 2 to my boss who missed out as he was taking his wife to her sister because she needed looking after as she was in hospital yesterday and he would have had to take ANOTHER day of unpaid leave to be with her. He has had a rotten week too as he had to have his chickens put down after they got to the rat poison. For that I have given up a HUGE profit. But the other 2 are heading for ebay - they will pay for my V ticket which I didn't buy because I couldn't go but then after they had all sold out Mum and I changed our summer holiday and now I can go so I'll be buying that from Ebay. There is nothing wrong with buying and selling like this - it's a free market. Also the MJ site were encouraging it through Vonage - which is another way of selling for profit even if they do call it fan exchange. I buy and sell a few tickets each year - it funds the concerts I go to. I started after I bought a pair of tickets for myself for a concert I then couldn't go to, I bunged em on Ebay and made a huge profit so I thought "why not". Its only illegal to sell football tickets as some people are banned from buying them.
Cooks
there's nothing wrong in it at all if you are lucky enough to get the tickets and then charge over the top for them good luck to you.
