Ped Egg

Recommended Posts

Amazingly enough I purchaed one yesterday as with warm weather will soon be out of tights and boots and into flip flops etc. I was impressed. OH asked if he could have a go and when I said yes are your feet bad - he announced he wanted to do mine!! I dont think he has a foot fetish, I am now worried as I dont like my feet being touched. i have hidden it from teenage son as hes a devil for borrowing things, he used all my hair de frizzer and will be grating his feet if I leave it out :? So its not just teenage girls who borrow things!! :D

Oh I`ve had a chuckle at these replies and like many of you have groaned at the *show* bit..blah...

However, to dissuade those that are considering the money heres a few tips for hard skin.

Not unsurprisingly walking on sand at the beachand when sitting down with feet in the sand moving them back and forth is great for literally "sanding the rough skin away...

Ok you may not be at the beach or have access to the sand but its one option.

second is to use a pumice stone every day and then rub cream into your skin..if you do this for about a week or so depending how bad it it you will have perfect feet come flip flop or sandal weather!

Most people have a pumice stone somwhere, and if not they are exceedingly cheap.

Cream, well you can use any, or if you have foot cream then use that.

As for parmesan cheese.. my comment is this.. the rubbish they sell here the grated sick smelling dry awful stuff that very well could be the gratings from the Ped Egg should be banned...

I have a friend in italy, umberto panini his home is in modena that has an organic parmesan farm called hombre, he sells world wide and there is not that vile and nasty odour that you get in these prepacked tubs.

Fresh parmesan is wonderful and has very little smell...oh and for those that like them he has some wonderful classic masseratis there too..L

I just do that every time I shower and pop on a pair of cotton socks for a few minutes while it soaks in.....and use a footspa, the pumice stone and lovely smelling cream every few weeks as a treat! I like to have nice feet all year round!

Me too Lesley.

I have slim feet (well, in comparison to the rest of me anyhow), & have never had dry hard or yellow skin on them.

I always have painted toes & use a moisturiser of some sot on them every night - the Burts Bees Beeswax & almond hand cream at the moment 8)
