Has anyone used one of these and if so what did you think? I've been browsing on eBay and they have some quite cheap. The power of the tv ads calls to me, but I can't quite bring myself to pay nearly £10 for something that may or may not work.

I have one (she wispers quietly) brilliant!!!

Honestly I had really cracked hard heels, the egg soon sorted that out!! The skin is only disgusting to someone else, particuarly if you show your husband!

Am I the only one who doesn't want babysoft feet. I like mine hardened s I can do my favourite of walking around bare foot and it no hurting. I don't like doing it this time of year as they're always softened from a winters worth of shoe wearing.

It does have the look and feel of a small cheese grater but that, I think, is why it works so well. It really sorted out my heels - much, much better than an ordinary foot file thingy.

I have one and it works well, but I wouldn't have paid £10, they often appear at local markets for around £4 I think they are slight seconds, but I saw some copies last weekend at a market for £2.

I saw them in Superdrug at the weekend for £9.99. I need to sort my heels out but didn't get one as it's a lot of money when you're not sure - might have a better look at it now, especially if it might become an Omlet must have!

When i first watched the ad i thought they poured it into a saucepan

I have a Microplane foot buffer and it's brilliant. I think ped egg have copied it but made it an egg shape. I bought mine off a seller on ebay.com over a year ago when the exchange rate was good so it was loads cheaper. QVC used to sell them but not sure if they still do.

I have one and love it, especially as I paid £2 for it in a pound shop! It is a genuine one so I was really happy. You don't have to take all the hard skin off just enough to get rid of the dry cracked looking stuff. Think of the removed skin as talc, easier to think of it that way
