laurmurf
you just need to hear HENthusiastic on the subject of mooncups - complete convert! I'm menopausal and she nearly had me buying one
Sheilaz
are you still using them and would you really recomend them? Yes and yes . Yes & yes from me too. It's been the best change I've made ever, & the best Omlet must have, wish I'd known about Mooncups 30 years ago!
chickencam
Best omlet recommendation as far as I'm concerned too. ED wouldn't agree though but she is only 16 and still has some inhibitions to lose. I think it may be the only Omlet must have that I have bought apart from Bumper bits. Chookiehen
Dont want to go off at a tangent here, but, I have looked at mooncups before but really wasnt sure about them. Ive noticed that quite a few of you seem to have them, are you still using them and would you really recomend them? I flushed mine by a mistake early one morning (3 am-ish) when I dropped it down the loo by mistake, and was on auto-pilot. Had to send chookiehubbie out to the big Boots in Edinburgh the next day to get a replacement.
chick wiggle
Ok on your Reccomendations I am buying one today. Never, no never anticipated the scurge of my life like this before
Jules.
Mooncups are the best I actually bought mine a few months before I joined the Omlet forum so I've had it nearly 3 years now. I can't live without it.... Can I add Kenwood Chef to the list, please? I didn't spot it earlier.
Reikiranf
Oh Jules, why did you have to go and mention Kenwood chef? A certain person who shall remain nameless was talking about the Kenwood titanium and I'm trying to resist going to Argos as they have it on offer at the moment I've managed to talk myself out of getting it as I have a food processor that I rarely use, mind you it is over 20 years old and has had lots of use, I also have a hand mixer that I use a few times a year so I don't think I can justify buying it really and I'm telling myself that if I do buy a kenwood instead of using a good old bowl and spoon or a whisk I'll have even bigger bingo wings So if anyone wants to tell me why I should buy a Kenwood feel free, and perhaps we should start another thread entitled "How much money would you have saved if you hadn't bought the Omlet must haves?" I'm not knocking this thread, I love the must haves and have bought a fair few things that I love and I probably wouldn't have even know about them otherwise. chickenNutter
Do I need to buy a sort of extension pipe thingy with my shee wee? Just thinking of practicalities here, and the basic model is a little short compared with the real thing that chaps have, so to speak. Looks a bit risky to me. Don't know whether I would trust it. Could be a real disaster if it went wrong, depending on where you were at the time.

I've got a shewee, I use it when we go walking. It's better than baring your backside on a windy hilltop! Just have to make sure you get the wind direction right! chickenNutter
Right! I'm going for a test run today, but not outside as it is extremely windy on the Lancashire coast today. Wish me luck.
